    Sunday Mornings

    Sunday School: 9:30 am
    Sunday School Classes are provided for children ages 3 years-5th grade.The Show Me Jesus series is a biblically centered curriculum published by the PCA. An emphasis is placed on creative lessons, scripture memory, application and learning the catechism.

    Children’s Worship (During the Morning Worship Hour)
    Children's Worship is a unique, interactive time of music, prayer and Bible teaching held during the Morning Worship service. Following a time of corporate family worship in the sanctuary, children (ages 3 years- 1st grade) are dismissed to Children's Worship, led by Mr. Mitch Townley

    Wednesday Night Programs (6:30pm-7:30pm)

    SonLight Kids (3 yrs - K)
    Active Bible learning for children ages 3 years through Kindergarten. Games, stories and Scripture memorization allow children to get into God's Word.

    KIDMO (1st-5th Grades)
    KIDMO is a time of interactive, multi-media assisted Bible instruction. Children are engaged in learning and applying Bible concepts and verses to their daily lives. It features small group discussion and prayer time.

    Nursery Ministry

    Childcare is provided during all primary services and ministry activities held at the church. Qualified volunteer caregivers serve in both the infant and toddler nurseries. Pagers are provided to parents.

    After-School Good News Club At West Hills Elementary

    An after school Bible club for 1st-5th graders held at West Hills Elementary School on Thursday afternoons from 2:30pm - 4:00pm during the school year. Music, Bible lessons, Missionary stories, Bible verse memorization and games. This is a Child Evangelism Fellowship sponsored ministry led by members of West Hills Presbyterian Church.

    Emphasizing Respect

    Respect for God’s Holy Word by listening intently when it is being read or spoken.

    Respect for adults and those in authority by being obedient and compliant to instruction, direction and correction.

    Respect for others by using encouraging words, and avoiding hurtful, mean or cruel behaviors.

    Respect for themselves by not acting in ways that put their bodies or faith at risk.

    Respect for the buildings, equipment, and grounds by cleaning up after themselves, putting items away after use, and staying away from prohibited areas.

    Meet Our Director Of Children's Ministries

    Mitch Townley has served as Director of Children's Ministries at West Hills Presbyterian since 1996. He has a Masters Degree in Education from the University of South Carolina, and a Masters Degree in Christian Education from Columbia Biblical Seminary. Mitch is a published songwriter, has written plays and skits, directed children's choirs and been a workshop leader at children's ministry conferences. He also makes really cool balloons. Mitch is married and has two adult daughters.
