Opportunities for Congregants in Christian Education

There are numerous opportunities to serve the Lord in these activities of West Hills Presbyterian Church. Anyone interested in participating part-time or for an extended time should contact the church office for direction to the appropriate group. Specific opportunities include, but are not limited to, the following:

1. Pray for everyone involved in any aspect of Christian Education.
2. Teaching at all levels. This requires a willingness to go through an approval process and commit the necessary efforts for preparation.
3. Reviewing books by Christian authors - a fine selection is available in the church library - and operating a Christian Book table in the narthex of the church.
4. Taking personal responsibility for the spiritual life and Christian education of your own family members by having family devotions.
5. Regular attendance in a Sunday school class and/or a small (Care) group.
6. Assisting with planning and teaching in vacation Bible school.
7. Assisting with Sunday evening youth programs.
8. Serving as chaperones for youth trips.
9. Providing food for youth events.
