    God, in His mercy, has allowed CEF to act as the agent for local churches to adopt a public elementary school and to teach the Gospel to its children!  In an after-school program designed to share God's Word with school children--through Bible lessons, missions stories, memory verses and songs--a local church can get involved on a weekly basis with excited boys and girls.

    Church volunteers come once a week, for an hour, teaching the truth of God's Word through various visuals and also sit and visit with the children, developing a relationship with them.  This has been a very positive opportunity, with a number of children praying to receive Christ as Savior with even family members being affected.  So far, adopting churches and schools include:

    • Grace Community Church at Inskip Elementary School
    • West Hills Presbyterian Church at West Hills Elementary School
    • Berean Bible Church at Spring Hill Elementary School
    • CrossWalk Community Church at New Hopewell Elementary School
    • Rocky Hill Baptist Church at Rocky Hill Elementary School

    Child Evangelism Fellowship works with children wherever they are. Through various year-round ministries--Good News Clubs, 5-Day Clubs, Chapel services, Party clubs, After-School GNCs, Open Air ministries, Tennessee Valley Fair ministry--CEF is able to present the Gospel to Knoxville area children.  In addition to this, CEF partners with local churches through teacher training, Gospel materials, program development and after-school programs.  Pray with us for the children of our communities!
