George Lacy - Director of Youth and Family Ministries
George Lacy has been at WHPC since June 2010. He has a Bachelor of Arts from Longwood University in Farmville, Virginia and a Masters of Divinity from Covenant Theological Seminary in St. Louis, Missouri. He and his wife, Charlotte, have 2 daughters, Magnolia and Penelope.
Mitch Townley - Director Of Children's Ministries
Mitch Townley has been at WHPC since 1996. He has a Masters Degree in Ed. From University of SC and a Masters Degree in Christian Education from Columbia Bible Seminary. He and his wife Karen have 2 adult daughters.
Fred Fowler - Assistant Pastor to Seniors
Assistant Pastor Fred Fowler was the first Pastor at WHPC when it started in 1963. He retired in 1995 and became Pastor to Seniors in 2000. Fred graduated from Northwestern and Columbia Theological Seminary. He and his wife Suzanne have 2 adult children and 3 grandchildren.
Becky Glass - Church Secretary
Becky Glass has been WHPC Church Secretary since 1977. She and her husband Glenn joined in 1973. They have 2 adult children and 3 granddaughters.
Don King - Director of Music Ministries
Don King has been the Director of Music Ministries for the past three years. He is married to Linda and has 3 children and four granddaughters. He has been directing church choirs for 46 years. Don is a practicing physician in primary care and has been in Knoxville for 30 years.
Melissa Wade - Pianist
Melissa Wade has been our church pianist since 2000. She is a graduate of UT with a BS in Communications. Melissa teaches private piano lessons and is co-leader of her band, "Wild Blue Yonder."
