In 2003, WHPC "adopted" Stinnett Elementary School (SES) in Stinnett, KY through the Knoxville based ministry Mission of Hope.  WHPC members participate in two mission trips to SES.  One is in August to deliver backpacks and school supplies and the other is in December to deliver Christmas gifts, shoes, coats, and teacher appreciation gifts.  Each trip includes an assembly program for all the students during which the Gospel is proclaimed.
